	Shinzo was born from a desire to introduce people to the very best that Japanese green tea has to offer. Many people are largely unaware of quite how poor the general quality of Japanese green tea available outside of Japan is and have never really tasted a high quality green tea before.
	This is perfectly understandable as the range of green tea available is overwhelming and often confusing.
	Our range of tea has been carefully hand selected to offer you an authentic introduction to various high quality green teas whilst trying to offer you relative value for money.
We go directly to the source in Japan and work with producers to bring you green teas of only the finest quality. It also means we get to see first hand how the crops are cared for and how the tea is produced so we can ensure that the greatest care is taken at every stage to maintain quality and also to care for the environment.
Our current range of Sencha and Powdered Sencha have been cared for using a pioneering method of natural pest control. Simulating the conditions of a passing typhoon with high pressure wind and water, the producers control insect levels in a natural and chemical free way. Kind on your body and kind on the environment.
